Kei trucks for the orchard and the vineyard
The 2022 Census of Agriculture counted 6,203,085 acres of orchards and vineyards in the United States, 1,108,161 of them in grapes. Kei trucks are built to Japan's kei class limits on length and width, narrow enough for many orchard and vineyard rows.

Of the 50 states and DC, 13 title a kei truck 25 years or older for the road, 18 open the road to it with limits, one has a road law passed and not yet in force, 10 have not settled it and nine do not register kei trucks for ordinary road use. Every state file names farms, private land or ground the owner holds among the places a newer governed truck may work.

Can I use one in a California, Oregon or New York orchard?
Yes, on private land. Those three states do not register kei trucks for ordinary road use, and the orchard, the vineyard and the farm are where the truck works.
What about a newer truck governed to 25 mph?
It enters the country as off road equipment, governed to 25 mph, which suits the rows and the farm roads between them. Each state page says how it is titled.
