The Bravo, until then the Minicab Bravo, became its own model on 30 January 1991 (Mitsubishi's fact book) with a teardrop Aero Spindle Shape body, a Super Aero Roof of power tilt and slide glass panels, rotating front seats, a SOHC four valve per cylinder engine and the Minica's DOHC five valve, HCU full time 4WD and a class first two mode 3AT. Recall list: V-U41V and V-U42V built from 19 December 1990.

An injected family listing the Minicab U42T and U62T and the Clipper U72T, governed to 25 mph, model years 2010 to 2026. A carburetted one ran 2010 to 2016.
A truck under 25 can come in only as governed off road equipment, and only if its engine family held an EPA nonroad certificate for that model year. No kei engine family was certified for mini trucks before model year 2010, so a truck built after 31 October 2001 and before model year 2010 has no federal door until its 25th birthday.
