Kei trucks in Arizona title at 25 years and work ranches at any age.
Arizona titles a foreign-made vehicle 25 years or more from its manufacture date without the federal safety and emissions conversion certificate it asks of newer imports. The truck passes an MVD inspection and an Arizona emissions inspection before title and then registers like any other vehicle.
The law is A.A.C. R17-4-206 as amended by final rulemaking at 31 A.A.R. 4695, effective 1 February 2026 (Supp. 26-1); A.R.S. 28-2052(D).
