A sheriff's information sheet quotes Section III of a county ordinance letting class 1 ATVs use, by permit, the right-of-way of every gravel and paved county state-aid highway and county road except CSAH 18 from TH 61 to CSAH 19, CSAH 20 from CSAH 24 to TH 19, CSAH 24 from Willow Trail to 318th Avenue, CSAH 29 from TH 20 to the Dakota County line, CSAH 1 between CSAH 66 and TH 61 and CR 53 from the Grandview trailer court to TH 61, on the extreme right and never on the slopes or ditch. A truck under 25 can come in only as governed off road equipment, and only if its engine family held an EPA nonroad certificate for that model year. No kei engine family was certified for mini trucks before model year 2010, so a truck built after 31 October 2001 and before model year 2010 has no federal door until its 25th birthday.

A road truck must be 25 years old by its own build date. A newer truck comes in only as governed off road equipment with a certified engine.
